Salvation Army;

"To achieve a personal understanding into the workings of a religious organisation in an increasingly secular society."

The Salvation Army is an international Christian church working within England and Ireland as well as a variety of countries to prevent social injustice.
This project is about gaining an insight into the Salvation Army and their charity work, personal life's as well as gatherings and events such as coffee mornings and jumble sales. I focused on individuals within the organisation through portraiture and documentary, from an outsiders point of view.
I've always been drawn to personal beliefs and i feel the Salvation Army isn't particularly a common known movement, so i decided to look further into their ideas an aims and how they represent themselves as a movement, This Salvation Army is based in Harlow, Essex.
